We had our steep driveway painted and whenever it rained it was too slippery to walk on or even drive down. Several people had slipped over. The cars would slide down or slip on the way up with even the slightest of rain. Even when re-coated with Anti-Slip in the sealer it was still too slippery. We then gave up with that painter and were lucky to get into contact with Matt from Comprehensive Concrete Coatings. Matt came and gave us a fair quote for a 2PK coating with a Coarse Anti-Slip finish which he ensured us would reduce the slipperiness and be suitable to be walked on and driven on in the wet. After he completed the job and we let it cure, we were very happy with the result. We were able to walk up and down without the fear of slipping over and could drive the cars up and down without skidding or sliding. He was very professional and did a fantastic job. We’d recommend Comprehensive Concrete Coatings to anyone with the same issue as he solved a very big problem that we had.

I had my concrete driveway sealed by a concreter and it started peeling within a few months. After 12 months it had mostly peeled back to bare concrete. When I contacted the concreter he said it must be a problem with the sealer and I should contact the company who makes it. I rang them and they explained it was more likely due to incorrect preparation or application. I asked if they knew of any reputable concrete painters and they gave me Comprehensive Concrete Coatings. I called Matt and he came out and gave me a detailed quote to come and fix the job. As nearly 70% of the area had gone back to bare concrete, he said he would high pressure water blast it back to bare and acid etch it to ensure it is porous. Then when coating it he dilutes the first coat so it soaks into the concrete. He did 2 more undiluted coats after that and advised not to drive on it for a week. It’s been 12 months since I had my concrete recoated by Comprehensive Concrete Coatings and it looks as good as the day it was done. I would definitely recommend Matt from Comprehensive Concrete Coatings as he knows what he’s doing and does a great job.

I’d recommend Matt from Comprehensive Concrete Coatings for anyone wanting a great looking 2PK Epoxy floor coating. He did a job for me in a six car basement  as part of a multi-million dollar renovation and it turned out great. It’s very hard wearing and resists hot tyre pick up. It’s also very resistant to petrol, oil and grease. Any stains are just cleaned up with degreaser leaving the surface looking new again. He did a very thorough job, making sure to etch and clean the surface two days before coating it. I ensured it cured for week before it was used and it came up beautiful. The client is very happy with his 2PK Epoxy floor and is showing all his friends.
